Favorite Forgotten Tales
How many of you remember the story of Johnny Appleseed from your elementary school days? I do, vaguely. When I asked my high school senior daughter if she new of Johnny Appleseed, she said, “huh?”
This got me to thinking of how many tales we loved as children, but are no longer mainstream.
Here are some of my favorites or forgotten stories from child hood.
